Unique stay in a battlefield park
The King Suite was super roomy, perfect for us and our dog, Nala. Loved the outdoor dining area—great vibes! The staff were really friendly, and the breakfast was delicious, not steep on prices. One minor thing was the lower level room felt a tad dark. But all in all, a neat spot!

The king suite offered ample space with a comfortable king-sized bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. Enjoyed the large patio, perfect for our dog, and the peaceful atmosphere during our stay. Breakfast was quite delightful, and the gift shop had a great variety of local souvenirs. However, the location is quite remote, with limited nearby options, and while the lodge's age adds character, some may prefer a more modern touch.
